Dr. Beatrice Coscas Williams, Research Fellow

Beatrice Coscas-Williams is an attorney and a research fellow (Post doctorate) under the JCR Project at the Bar Ilan Faculty of Law (2017) With Prof. Michal Alberstein. Her fields of interest are the criminal justice system, victims’ rights and participation within criminal proceedings, trauma and memory, restorative justice and comparative law. Beatrice earned her PhD (Summa Cum Laude) at Paris V- Descartes faculty of law, Sorbonne (France) and her L.LM from Tel-Aviv University. Previously, she worked as a research assistant for a number of research projects in the comparative law field (Tel-Aviv Faculty of law and Jerusalem Hebrew University).  Additionally, she is the co-founder of a socio-juridical mediation project for single parent families and youth at risk. She is fluent in French, English and Hebrew.
